My Friends In Ipda

It's Up To You

One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream,
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald the spring,
One smile brings a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul,
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal,
One vote can change the nation,
One sunbeam lights a room,
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom,
One step start each journey,
One word must start each prayer,
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch will show you care,
One voice can speak with wisdom,
One heart will know what’s true.
One life can make the difference,
You see, it’s up to you!

TAIPING LAKE GARDEN

Like a troupe of dancers they stand on parade. Arching as far back as possibly they can, they lurch forward dramatically in graceful abandon, to touch the water with gentle sustained reverence. This act of artistry of the archaic angsana trees never fails to enthrall visitors as they ushered into the world of mystique of the Taiping Lake Gardens. The magic continues one step onto the islands among the expanse of tranquil water where the rays of the early morning sun shine obliquely through the clumps of bamboo, palm and isolated trees.
Motley of people throngs the gardens everyday, throughout the day. With the availability of walkways, exercise stations, boating facilities, playground and even a zoo. It becomes a heaven for strollers, health buff, pleasure seekers and parents with children. At dusk, as the sun withdraws, the luscious moon lures another tribe of people to the fold. These are courting couples, come to enjoy the air laden with the scent of flowering angsana trees cacophony of the crickets chirping and frogs croaking. It is hard to imagine that prior to 1884, this ‘green lung’ now teeming with people round the clock was a desolate, depleted tin mine. It has come to be what it is today by kind courtesy of a British officer, Colonel E.S.F Walker.

HILARY DUFF LYRICS

"So Yesterday"

You can change your life - if you wanna

You can change your clothes - if you wanna

If you change your mind

Well, that's the way it goes

But I'm gonna keep your jeans

And your old black hat - cause I wanna

They look good on me

You're never gonna get them back

At least not today, not today, not today'cause

[Chorus:]

If it's over, let it go and

Come tomorrow it will seem

So yesterday, so yesterday

I'm just a bird that's already flown away

Laugh it off let it go and

When you wake up it will seem

So yesterday, so yesterday

Haven't you heard that I'm gonna be okay

You can say you're bored - if you wanna

You can act real tough - if you wanna

You can say you're torn

But I've heard enough

Thank you... you made my mind up for me

When you started to ignore me

Do you see a single tear

It isn't gonna happen here

At least not today, not today, not today'cause

[Chorus]

If you're over me, I'm already over you

If it's all been done, what is left to do

How can you hang up if the line is dead

If you wanna walk, I'm a step ahead

If you're moving on, I'm already gone

If the light is off then it isn't on

At least not today, not today, not today

haloo everybody!..
